  • The article discusses the release of greenhouse gases by the cattle farming industry. The generation of 13 times the amount of greenhouse gases by raising cattle compared with chicken is mentioned, noting that cattle farming generates 57 times more greenhouse gases than growing potatoes. The opinion that individuals in the U.S. and other developed countries should eat less beef is also presented.
