  • The author comments on airport security. He relates how the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents confiscated his father's aftershave bottle, even though it could hold just .25 ounces more than the 3 ounce limit, and was only a quarter full. He suggests that a high terror alert level is false, since chances of terrorism are regularly so low, and suggests that the TSA puts on a show of ensuring safety but could not deter intelligent terrorists.
