  • The article states that the Hubble Space Telescope has discovered the presence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet beyond the Milky Way. This exoplanet orbits a star that is 63 light years away from Earth. Scientists compared the light spectrum form the star and the planet combined to determine the atmospheric components.
