  • The article presents an update to the article "On the Road to Fuel-Cell Cars" from the March 2005 issue. The progress made by researchers seeking to create fuel cells that are less expensive and have a higher energy capacity than those available in 2005 is reported, noting that a team from Quebec has developed a technique for catalyzing the reaction of hydrogen and oxygen using iron instead of platinum.
