  • This article discusses the possibility that speciation can be witnessed occurring in dog breeds. The use of ability to breed as the means of demarcating different species is analyzed in light of the difficulties that a chihuahua would face in mating with an English mastiff. The implications of this distinction for scientists seeking to illustrate speciation for creationists are considered.
