  • This article discusses research into the use of stem cell therapies to reverse the effects of multiple sclerosis. This research was published on January 30, 2009 by the journal "Lancet Neurobiology." The use of hematopoietic stem cells derived from the bone marrow of patients to reset the immunoregulatory behavior of the body is described. The possibility that stem cell research will increase in 2009 is considered.
