  • Resumen
    • The article reports that physicists have detected a repulsive form of the Casimir force. The force, which pulls closely spaced metal plates closer to one another, is reversed in this new discovery, and can come about when surfaces consist of materials that have different electrical properties. The discovery could aid in the manufacture of small mechanical devices.
