This article intends to show a possible approximation between writing and existence based on some comments by Emil Cioran (1911-1995) and the experience of pure negativity as a vital manifestation of God’s death. In this register, we try to understand the human experience in the field of writing as a therapeutic of man who no longer finds metaphysical and theological grounding for his existence in the world, his action being insignificant and meaningless in a desert of negativity and absence of hope, leaving him the written as a possibility for the transfiguration of pain in the word, in a kind of confession of self for itself, as a spelling of suffering and emptiness, fruits of the ontological insubstantiality of the universe of the author of The Trouble with Being Born.

Pretende-se, neste artigo, mostrar uma possível aproximação entre escrita e existência com base em alguns comentários de Emil Cioran (1911-1995) e na experiência de pura negatividade enquanto manifestação vital da morte de Deus. Neste registro, procuramos compreender a experiência humana no campo da escrita como terapêutica do homem que já não encontra fundamentação metafísico-teológica para sua existência no mundo, sendo sua ação insignificante e sem sentido num deserto de negatividade e ausência de esperança, restando-lhe a escrita como possibilidade de transfiguração da dor na palavra, numa espécie de confissão de si para si, como grafia do sofrimento e do vazio, frutos da insubstancialidade ontológica própria do universo do autor de Do Inconveniente de Ter Nascido
