El propósito de este trabajo es presentar la colección arqueológica Legado Faustino, cedida a la Sección de Estudios de Arqueología y Prehistoria (SEAP) de la Real Academia de Cultura Valenciana. Se trata de un lote de cerca de doscientas piezas, que ha sido parcialmente restaurado y que en el futuro será musealizado. El artículo describe el conjunto, y la primera parte de trabajos de estudio, catalogación, documentación conservación, y restauración, efectuados principalmente a piezas cerámicas. Se detalla los procesos de actuación así como los criterios de intervención, justificando un empleo de técnicas y materiales reversibles para garantizar la perpetuidad.
The main purpose of this paper is to present the archaeological collection called Legacy Faustino, assigned to the Research Section of Archaeology and Prehistory (SEAP) of the Royal Academy of Valencian Culture. This is a batch of about two hundred pieces, which has been partially restored and in the future will musealized. The paper describes the set, and the first part of researching work, cataloging, documentation, preservation, and restoration, mainly made over ceramic pieces. Processes of action and intervention criteria are detailed, justifying the implementation of reversible techniques to guarantee the perpetuity and stability of these archaeological materials.
