    En un mundo cada vez más globalizado, las religiones han reencontrado la importancia, y la urgencia, de dialogar y afrontar en sintonía los grandes desafíos que afectan a la humanidad: la guerra, la pobreza, el cuidado del medioambiente, etc. El presente artículo describe la historia reciente del diálogo interreligioso a partir del encuentro de Asís, promovido por Juan Pablo II, y del desarrollo del «Espíritu de Asís» a través de los encuentros anuales por la paz que organiza la Comunidad de Sant’Egidio.

    In an increasingly globalized world, religions have rediscovered the importance, and the urgency, of dialogue and of facing together the great challenges that affect humanity: war, poverty, care for the environment, etc. This article describes the recent history of interreligious dialogue since the meeting in Assisi, promoted by John Paul II, and the development of the Spirit of Assisi through the annual meetings for peace that the Community of Sant’Egidio has held since then.
