  • Resumen
    • The only stipulations are that Sheffield Resources report its annual greenhouse gas emissions and make its “environment plans and reports” publicly available. The determination document states that the main issues raised in the appeals process related to “potential environmental impacts to fauna; flora and vegetation; Aboriginal heritage; hydrological processes and inland waters environmental quality; greenhouse gas emissions; rehabilitation; offsets; the EPA assessment process; and inadequate works approval conditions.” Prices are set to rise again in July, with continued supply tightness pushing US-headquartered mining company Tronox to announce that it will raise its zircon prices to $1,600-1,700 per tonne cif China.
