    A global expansion of the new energy vehicles (NEV) sector will boost demand for battery materials, China-based cathode supplier Easpring believes.

    Demand for battery materials including nickel, cobalt and lithium will grow in 2018, supported by a positive outlook for the cathode market given the increasing use of new energy vehicles, according to Li Jianzhong, general manager of cathode specialist Beijing Easpring Material Technology.
