  • Chemours announced price rises of as much as 10% for its fluorochemical products, including Teflon coatings, at the end of March.

    The company cited “growing global demand for high-quality fluoropolymers” as the reason for the price increases.

    The increases were set to come into effect on April 1, Chemours said, or as soon as contracts and law allowed, but it noted that some price adjustments might differ from those announced “based on specific market conditions.”
