Este artículo trata de arrojar luz sobre la escritura de seis dramaturgas mexicanas que avanzan con paso firme apoderándose de la escena nacional. Su lenguaje es fresco y desenfrenado, sus obras son valientes e insólitas, en otras palabras, escriben “con arrojo”. Así, este ensayo presenta y analiza los diferentes estilos e inquietudes de las dramaturgas: Nora Coss, Bárbara Perrín Rivemar, Mariana Villegas, Micaela Gramajo, Sara Pinedo y Ana Sánchez Bernal, cuyas carreras dramáticas lucen promisorias.

This article attempts to shed light on the writing by six Mexican playwrights who are steadily making headway, taking over the national theatre. Their language is fresh and unbridled, their plays are brave and unusual; in other words, they write “with boldness.” This essay presents and analyses the various styles and concerns of these playwrights: Nora Coss, Barbara Perrin Rivemar, Mariana Villegas, Micaela Gramajo, Sara Pinedo and Ana Sanchez Bernal, whose drama careers seem, indeed, very promising.
