  • A photograph by Andrew Hall is presented. Among other things, Hall passes a powerful magnet underneath tray of ferrofluid--an oil speckled with magnetic particles--and captures the results. The liquid always tries to find a way to align itself with the polarity of the magnetic field, he says.
