People don't have to be an Olympian to have a big heart. People who exercise for only three hours a week can have an enlarged heart too, and may be wrongly diagnosed as having a heart condition as a result. Elite athletes are well known to have enlarged hearts, but no one had realized a similar phenomenon can occur in people who do a moderate amount of exercise.
