Este ensayo tiene el propósito de contribuir a la reconstrucción histórica de los procesos, protagonistas e instituciones de atención sanitaria de Sarare, en el municipio Simón Planas del estado Lara entre los siglos XVIII y XIX; haciendo también de esta forma aportes a la historia social, a la identidad ciudadana y a la historia regional de las ciencias médicas. This essay has the purpose of contributing to the historical reconstruction of the processes, protagonists and health care institutions of Sarare, in the Simón Planas municipality of the } Lara state between the 18th and 19th centuries; also contributing in this way to the social history, to the citizen identity and to the regional history of the medical sciences.
