  • The article discusses research which examined the impact of the Clean Power Plan, which places limits on carbon dioxide emissions from U.S. power plants aimed to reduce the impacts of climate change. Topics covered include the outcome of the policy on crop yields, the extent to which smog, under air-pollution policies in place before the plan, would limit production of four major crops in 2020, and the extent of crop production losses under the plan.
