    En la primera parte de este artículo se aborda el escenario actual del pistachero en España y en el resto de países productores, incidiendo en las carencias y virtudes de estos últimos. En la segunda parte se recogen algunas de las claves de futuro partiendo de la situación presente y también los desafíos que habrá que afrontar y solventar si deseamos que el cultivo tenga unas mínimas posibilidades de éxito a medio y largo plazo

    In the first part of this article, the current scenario of pistachio in Spain and in the rest of the producing countries is addressed, highlighting the shortcomings and virtues of the latter ones. The second part summarizes some of the keys to the future on the basis of the current situation and also the challenges that will have to be tackled and solved if we want the pistachio crop has a reasonable chances of success in the medium and long term.
