Mulheres e militância na ditadura militar brasileira: uma análise historiográfica

    Investigating the trajectory of women in the militancy against the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964-1985), I have focused on important bibliographic works related to this period. Specifically in this work, it interests me to verify who those characters are and how their memories and social political resistances are treated in the book Fighting in the Darkness - The Brazilian Left: the illusions lost to armed struggle, by Jacob Gorender. Since little information about the women was found in the mentioned work, a brief presentation of their personal history is described here. In order to engender a research regarding this theme, I bring to the discussion the topics of gender and how gender differences manifested in these militant women’s family, social, and political life, as well as in the treatment they received from the regime’s repression.

    Buscando as trajetórias das mulheres na militância contra a ditadura militar no Brasil (1964-1985), debrucei-me sobre obras importantes sobre o período. Interessa-me especificamente nesse trabalho verificar quem são tais personagens e como suas memórias e resistências foram tratadas por Jacob Gorender em Combate nas trevas – a esquerda brasileira: das ilusões perdidas à luta armada. Tendo encontrado poucas informações nesse livro sobre as mulheres que nele apareceram, conhecer melhor a história dessas mulheres tornou-se imperativo. Com isso, faço aqui uma breve apresentação de suas histórias particulares. Para engendrar uma pesquisa sobre esse tema, trago para a discussão as questões de gênero e como suas diferenças se apresentaram às essas mulheres militantes em sua vida familiar, social, política e no trato recebido pela repressão.
