    Esta investigación aborda la percepción del continente europeo y los acontecimientos acaecidos durante el siglo XX a través de los manuales escolares de Historia editados durante la dictadura franquista (1939-1975). En este sentido, consideramos interesante analizar la visión que se pretendía trasladar al alumnado de aquellos episodios históricos clave como bien pudieron ser la I y II Guerra Mundial, las experiencias fascista y nacionalsocialista, así como la percepción de la contemporánea Guerra Fría y el comunismo soviético dentro del panorama que envuelve al mundo actual. Todo ello se ha llevado a cabo a partir de la consulta y el análisis de contenido de una selección de manuales. Así mismo, se pretende establecer una relación entre la evolución del discurso vertido en los manuales y los cambios del currículo educativo a colación de los distintos planes de estudio y en estrecha vinculación con las necesidades del régimen en cada momento.

    This research approaches us the perception of the European continent and the events happened during the twentieth century through the History school books edited during Franco's dictatorship (1939-1975). In this sense, we consider interesting to analyze the view that pretends to move the students of those key historical events like the First and Second World War, Fascism and National Socialism experiences, as well as the perception of Contemporary Cold War and the Soviet Communism inside the outlook that wraps up the current world. Everything was carried out based on the enquiry and the content analysis of a school book selection. Likewise, it seeks to establish a relationship between the speech evolution dumped in the school books and the educational curriculum changes in relation with the different study guides and with close bonding that the regimen need in each moment.
