Resumen de Vigo y las tecnologías: una mirada que reinstala su arte

  El trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar la práctica de archivo del artista Edgardo Antonio Vigo (La Plata, Bs. As., Argentina) para analizarla como una acción estético/política, a partir del registro y resguardo de materialidades que posibilitan la construcción de la memoria colectiva y replanteamientos en torno al arte y su relación con los nuevos y viejos medios, particularmente con las tecnologías digitales. Estas tecnologías contribuyen a transformar la noción que vincula el archivo al posibilitar la circulación de esos materiales a través de Internet.

  The purpose of this paper is to present the archive practice of the artist Edgardo Antonio Vigo (La Plata, Bs. As., Argentina) to analyze it as an aesthetic/political action, based on the registration and safeguarding of materialities that enable the construction of collective memory and rethinking around art and its relationship with new and old media, particularly with digital technologies. These technologies contribute to transform the notion that links the archive by enabling the circulation of these materials through the Internet.
