The currents that go across a network of n electric resistances can be computed applying Kirchhoff's laws. The resultant linear system has n equations and n unknowns, and it can easily be solved with the heIp of a Computer Algebra System. Usually, to solve this linear system, a n x n matrix would be considered. But in this article, an approximate method of resolution by iteration, that only needs to deal with a n- vector, is described. Moreover, it can be implemented, even on a programmable pocket-calculator. Its didactic interest is emphasized along the article.
