  • Podium Peter Waugh BlueJay Mining Non-executive director What will be your strategy as non-executive director at BlueJay? The team at BlueJay have done a fantastic job in defining the world class potential of the Pituffik deposit, and demonstrating that high-quality ilmenite concentrates can be produced cost effectively. I will be looking to challenge Rod McIlree and his team to optimise the value of these products as they enter into off-take agreements, finalise the mining plans and the separation flowsheet. I will also help raise the profile of the project among potential customers so it can be positioned as a credible addition to the established sources of ilmenite. This deposit has strong strategic opportunities going forward, so it is very exciting for BlueJay, the industry and me.
