  • Resumen
    • In half a century a lot can happen We can now travel across the globe physically in less than a day and virtually in a matter of seconds. People can access information at the click of a button (although the majority of people still use this power to watch videos of cats). We have had civil rights movements, we have uncovered new planets, we've cured incurable diseases and world illiteracy has halved.

For our world, that of industrial minerals, this means that communication has improved immeasurably when compared to what our predecessors at IM were up against 50 years ago. We can email people in the field and receive a response straight away. We can also use Skype, FaceTime, Viber, Yahoo, Twitter and Whatsapp to connect with offices and colleagues across the globe. Time differences and physical locations have become less important.

For us here, working for you, dear reader, this means that we can provide you with information right at the source as it happens. We are now more than ever a window for the industrial minerals world to look through to stay up to date with what is happening in the industry.

As our industry faces increasing regulatory and compliance hurdles, IM has positioned itself as a Price Reporting Agency with a global team of reporters to act as your independent third-party source on market prices.
