    Este artículo hace parte de la investigación desarrollada en la tesis doctoral titulada Política Publica  de Cobertura y Salud Mental de los docentes .Estrategias para su Optimización, la cual tuvo como propósito generar estrategias que coadyuven a la reflexión y  auto reflexión para proponer cambios en la implementación de las políticas educativas, específicamente lo que afecta la salud mental del docente. Este estudio fue fundamentado bajo el paradigma sociocritico y la metodología utilizada fue la Investigación  Acción Participativa, la información fue recolectada a través de la observación, entrevistas, instrumentos de indagación de ideas previas, con un diseño metodológico apoyado  en  el esquema de la RED CIMAS, llevado a cabo con  grupos homogéneos de docentes, funcionarios de la Secretario de Educación Municipal, de la Clínica General del Norte, lo cual permitió a través de los actores de la investigación identificar las principales  demandas de los docentes  frente a su conflictividad laboral y de salud tanto física como mental. Para garantizar la validez, se realizó la triangulación con el fin de contrastar los datos obtenidos por los actores de la investigación, la experiencia del investigador, con el problema, las preguntas, y los propósitos, analizando el conjunto de las opiniones bajo  diferentes visiones teóricas. Cabe resaltar que las acciones transformadoras surgidas en los diferentes grupos homogéneos mostraron que los docentes alcanzaron una visión más crítica y reflexiva en relación con la necesidad de capacitarse para el manejo de grupos numerosos y disimiles, y el cambio de actitud para mejorar hacia un estilo de vida saludable que permita mitigar los efectos de la cobertura y de las diferentes situaciones propias del cargo logrando así un progreso significativo. Se encontró que la estrategia pedagógica IAP es altamente pertinente para propiciar actitudes reflexivas y críticas, generando participación activa de los docentes y deseos de cambio en su entorno laboral.

    This article is part of the research developed in the doctoral thesis entitled Public Policy Coverage and Mental Health of teachers. Strategies for its Optimization, which had the purpose of generating strategies that contribute to reflection and self-reflection to propose changes in the implementation of educational policies, specifically what affects the mental health of the teacher. This study was based on the socio-critical paradigm and the methodology used was the Participatory Action Research, the information was collected through observation, interviews, instruments of inquiry of previous ideas, with a methodological design supported by the RED CIMAS scheme. carried out with homogeneous groups of teachers, officials of the Municipal Education Secretary, of the General Clinic of the North, which allowed through the actors of the investigation to identify the main demands of the teachers in the face of their labor and health conflicts both physical and mental. In order to guarantee the validity, the triangulation was carried out in order to contrast the data obtained by the actors of the research, the experience of the researcher, with the problem, the questions, and the purposes, analyzing the set of the opinions under different theoretical visions. . It should be noted that the transformative actions arising in the different homogeneous groups showed that the teachers reached a more critical and reflective view in relation to the need to train for the management of numerous and dissimilar groups, and the change of attitude to improve towards a style of healthy life that mitigates the effects of coverage and the different situations inherent to the position, thus achieving significant progress. It was found that the IAP pedagogical strategy is highly relevant to foster reflective and critical attitudes, generating active participation of teachers and desires for change in their work environment.
