    Esta sentencia resuelve la disputa producida entre la antigua agencia de representación de David de Gea y el portero cuando se produjo su traspaso al Manchester United desde su club de origen, el Atlético de Madrid. En concreto, el Tribunal Supremo explica el encaje del contrato en el ordenamiento jurídico, las obligaciones de las partes, la extensión de los efectos del mismo si el fichaje se ha producido una vez extinguido el contrato de representación y la posible indemnización en caso de incumplimiento contractual. Finalmente, queda un espacio para tratar desde cuándo han de devengarse los intereses en caso de que la cantidad reclamada no quede clara desde el inicio del procedimiento.

    This judgment resolves the dispute between the former representative agency of David de Gea and the goalkeeper when he was transferred to Manchester United from his home club, Atletico de Madrid. Specifically, the Supreme Court explains the fit of the contract in the legal system, the parties’ obligations, the extent of the contract effects if the signing has occurred once the contract of representation has expired and the possible compensation in case of breach of contract. Finally, there is space to explain when the default interests should be earned in case the amount claimed is not clear since the beginning of the procedure.
