El documento pretende aproximarse al ya clásico, 13.er, informe del Foro Económico Mundial (FEM) sobre riesgos globales, sin intentar hacer un descripción pormenorizada del mismo, pero sí, resaltando sus aspectos geopolíticos más relevantes y su novedad más notable, las «conmociones del futuro». Otro aspecto que se resalta en este análisis es la centralidad de la educación para intentar intuir los desafíos del nuevo escenario de riesgos globales. En este empeño, el análisis se apoya fundamentalmente en la bibliografía de la UNESCO, apartándose brevemente del Informe del FEM. En síntesis, la continua disminución del compromiso con un multilateralismo basado en normas exige a la institución militar servir de referencia en los estudios de riesgos futuros.

This document intends to analyze the just classic, 13th, report of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on global risks, without trying to make a detailed description of it, but trying to highlight its most relevant geopolitical aspects and its most notable novelty, the "future shocks". Another aspect that is highlighted in this analysis is the centrality of education in order to try to perceive the challenges of the new scenario of global risks.
In this endeavor, the analysis is based primarily on the UNESCO bibliography, briefly departing from the WEF Report. In short, the continued decline in commitment to rulebased multilateralism requires that the military institution serves as a reference in future risk studies.
