La scène bifrontale. Effets et contradictions d’un dispositif

    Desde hace unos años, los dispositivos escenográficos bifrontales son cada vez más frecuentes en los escenarios de los teatros nacionales franceses. Sin embargo, Le Capital et son singe (2014) de Sylvain Creuzevault y del colectivo D’Ores et déjà, y Berliner Mauer: Vestiges (2015) del Birgit Ensemble, por sus divergencias de activación del dispositivo, dejan entrever la posibilidad de una inversión de la valencia política utopista a veces asociada a la bifrontalidad —y en particular en la continuidad de los teatros utópicos franceses de los años 60. Replanteando la función de los espectadores en la economía teatral de las dos obras, mostraremos cómo la concentración de miradas puede inducir una relación escenario-sala incómoda con las utopías políticas (el comunismo en primer lugar) que están puestas en escena.

    : Over the past few years, the bifrontal stage devices are more and more frequents in the scenarios of the French National Theatres. Nevertheless, because of their divergences in the device activation, Le Capital et son singe (2014) by Sylvain Creuzevault and the Ensemble D’Ores et déjà, and Berliner Mauer: Vestiges (2015) by the Birgit Ensemble, offer the possibility of reversing the utopic political value sometimes associated with the bifrontalité —and, particularly, continuing with the French utopic theatres of the 60’. Reconsidering the role of the spectators in the theatre economy of these two plays, we shall demonstrate how the concentration of views could cause an inconvenient scenario-audience room interrelation for the utopic politics (firstly the Communism) that are performed.
