Resumen de Sob e sobre o autoritarismo do silêncio: marcas da narrativa portuguesa no pós-1974

In the book Exortação aos crocodilos, by António Lobo Antunes, axes of powers press a group of four women, at the end of the 70s, in the post-Salazar period; thereby, reactions of discomfort fertilize in the novel, in which female voices express organically – by the body, on the body – reactions to times of such apprehension and instability. Although the book represents the post-dictatorship period, the wealth and the symbology of censorship and repression are sensitively expressed in the present of the four women, at the resemblance of a secret, unrevealed, unsaid presence, and manifest themselves as an authority yet. A silence flows throughout the work in the sense of translating times of an inefficient democracy, in which prevails the maintenance of the secrets. Nevertheless, the work reveals instants in which the secret, pushed forward by passions, bends the law of the silence, in order to provoke discursively the effect of disobedience, of disauthorization of the law and of the order. This article projects its discussion around the potential of the secrets revelation, whose instantaneous apparitions deserve to be illuminated for the purpose of taking in testimonies in times of amnesia and amnesty.

No livro Exortação aos crocodilos, de António Lobo Antunes, eixos de forças pressionam um grupo de quatro mulheres, no final da década de 70, no período pós-Salazar; por conseguinte, reações de mal-estar fecundam no romance, em que vozes femininas expressam organicamente – pelo corpo, no corpo – reações a tempos de tamanha apreensão e instabilidade. Embora o livro represente o período pós-ditadura, o peso e a simbologia da censura e da repressão expressam-se sensivelmente no presente das quatro mulheres, à semelhança de uma presença secreta, não revelada, indizível, e manifestam-se como uma ainda autoridade. Um silêncio perpassa a obra no sentido de traduzir tempos de uma democracia ineficiente, em que prevalece a manutenção dos segredos. Não obstante, a obra revela instantes em que o segredo, impulsionado pelas paixões, verte a lei do silêncio, de modo a provocar discursivamente o efeito da desobediência, da desautorização da lei e da ordem. Este artigo projeta sua discussão em torno do potencial de revelação dos segredos, cujas aparições instantâneas merecem ser iluminadas no intuito de acolher testemunhos em tempos de amnésia e anistia.
