Resumen de Función pasiva en docentes de la provincia de San Luis

  El objetivo del presente trabajo es investigar los Estilos de Personalidad de docentes que solicitaban función pasiva por enfermedad psiquiátrica (no estar frente a alumnos). Se encuestaron 51 docentes (44 mujeres y 7 varones) de la Provincia de San Luis (Argentina). Para investigar estilos de personalidad se aplicó el Inventario Millon de Estilos de Personalidad (Millon, 1994). Los resultados permitieron detectar que los docentes más jóvenes sienten mayor decepción, preocupación y menos iniciativa, en tanto que los docentes de mayor edad presentan dificultades para modificar el ambiente.

  Los docentes con menos años de antigüedad presentan mayor inseguridad y sumisión, mientras que los docentes con mayor antigüedad en la docencia presentan mayor dominancia y energía.

  The aim of this research is to investigate the Personality Styles in a group of teachers that requested passive function for psychiatric illness (not being in front of students). A sample of fifty-one teachers were surveyed (forty-four females and seven males) of San Luis Province (Argentina).

  To investigate styles of personality, the following technique was applied:

  Millon Index of Personality Styles (Millon, 1994). The results allowed detecting that the younger teachers feel more disappointment, concern and less initiative while the older ones present difficulties to modify the environment.

  The teachers that have less seniority show more insecurity and submission while the teachers that have more seniority show more domination and energy.
