    El noticiario NO-DO construyó su crónica política internacional con la ayuda de las productoras de noticiarios extranjeros, lo que constituye uno de los ejes vertebradores de su discurso. La presente investigación ahonda en la orientación de este relato construido mientras se fraguaba un nuevo orden internacional después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Su mirada a los países europeos de la órbita soviética, y, en concreto, a la crisis húngara de 1956, permite comprender mejor el noticiario como constructo ideológico que sirvió entonces a una doble estrategia propagandística: la del régimen franquista para perpetuarse, y la definida por Estados Unidos y sus aliados durante la Guerra Fría. En este afán se presta singular atención a la operación de recontextualiación que sus editores realizaron sobre el metraje importado.

    The international political chronicle was built by NO-DO with the help of foreign newsreels companies. The present investigation analyses the ideological orientation of this discourse, constructed while a new international order was forged after the Second World War. The news and reports regarding the European countries of the Soviet orbit, and, in particular, regarding the Hungarian crisis of 1956, allows us a better understanding of the Spanish newsreel as an ideological construct that served a double propaganda strategy: that of the Franco regime in order to perpetuate itself, and the strategy definite by the United States and its allies during the Cold War. In this effort, singular attention is paid to the re-contextualization operation that the editors of NO-DO made on the imported footage.
