Resumen de Participação dos agricultores familiares de Canguçu no programa Poupança Florestal da Votorantim Celulose e Papel

  The study examines the integration of family farming in Canguçu in the incentive program called Forest Savings by Votorantim Cellulose and Paper Mill (VCP). The information that supports to this article is part of a broader research, conducted by the Program of Graduate Studies in Agro ecosystems of the Federal 50 University of Santa Catarina. In spite of the recognized importance of family farming in the county of Canguçu and the fact that this public is identified as preferential by Forest Savings, the immersion in the empirical universe evidenced Participation of family farmers of Canguçu in the Forest Savings program by Votorantim Cellulose and Paper Millthat, so far, those farmers had little participation in the program.

  O estudo analisa a inserção da agricultura familiar canguçuense no programa de fomento Poupança Florestal da Votorantin Celulose e Papel (VCP). As informações que dão corpo a este artigo constam de uma pesquisa mais ampla, realizada no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agroecossistemas da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, durante o curso de mestrado. Em que pese à reconhecida importância que assume a agricultura familiar no município de Canguçu e seja este o público identificado como preferencial do Poupança Florestal, a imersão ao universo empírico evidenciou que, até o momento, estes agricultores pouco têm participação no programa.
