    El presente artículo nace del proyecto “Las ciudadanías, la participación y sus prácticas comunicativas en la escuela”. El objetivo es exponer la primera fase de esta investigación interpretativa. Por tanto, se presentará una caracterización sobre los tipos de ciudadanías ejercidas por los actores escolares en dos Instituciones Educativas Distritales de la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia, a través de la radio escolar. Concretamente, se trata de la comunicación y el desarrollo para el cambio social, la ciudadanía y la radio escolar, elementos conceptuales sobre los cuales gira está experiencia de investigación. De tal manera, en el texto se dan a conocer las voces de los niños y los jóvenes dado que se asumen como sujetos políticos, con capacidad de enfrentar su presente y futuro.

    The present document emerge of the project “Las ciudadanías, la participación y sus prácticas comunicativas en la escuela”. The aim’s expose the first phase of this interpretive investigation. Here there will be exposed the theoretical reflections that allowed to the analysis of the opposing findings, giving response to the characterization of the types of citizenships exercised by the school actors in two Educational Institutions Distritales of the city of Bogota - Colombia across the school radio.

    Concretely it’s the communication and the development for the social change, the citizenship and the school radio the conceptual elements on which it turns this experience of investigation. Of such a way, in the text there’re announced the voices of the children and the young persons provided that they’re assumed as political subjects, with aptitude to assume your present and your future.
