El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar algunos argumentos de la teoría ético-política y educativa de Jean- Jacques Rousseau que proporcionen información acerca de la conciliación entre su proyecto ético-político del Contrato social y su proyecto educativo del Emilio o de la Educación. En la primera parte, se revisa la concepción rusiana de hombre, que remite a dos formas de concebir la naturaleza humana: como estado primitivo u originario y como capacidad de perfeccionarse que, para Rousseau, es sinónimo de racionalidad y libertad.
En la segunda parte, se plantea cómo retoma tal concepción en el diseño de su proyecto político; la tercera y última parte describe el papel que la educación desempeña en esa tarea
The aim of this article is to show some arguments of the ethical and political theory and educational of Jean-Jacques Rousseau that provide clues about the reconciliation between his ethical-political project of the Social Contract and its educational project of Emilio or education. In the first part, we review the design of men’s French philosopher, which goes back to two ways of conceiving human nature: as a primitive state or as originating and improved capacity, which for Rousseau is synonymous with freedom and rationality. In the second part, how we raise takes up this conception in designing their political project and the third and final part is devoted to describing the role that education plays in this task.
