    Esta investigación se propone aproximarse a la construcción del significado la nación a través de la producción discursiva de la empresa científica decimonónica. Edificando un imaginario de identidad nacional moderna, donde el discurso científico y cientificista, se entrama al proyecto político de formación del Estado-nación argentino. Considerando cuatro dimensiones: el proyecto modernizador que sustenta, los anclajes institucionales en que se traduce, los personajes históricos protagónicos y su interdependencia con los relatos políticos y literarios. En este sentido, el concepto de discurso social -o ideológico- permite la integración de los relatos (políticos, literarios, científicos) eludiendo toda determinación y disyunción analítica positiva, para recuperar el valor integral de sus incidencias sociales e históricas en la poiesis de un sentido nacional.

    This research focuses on approaching the construction of meaning the nation through the discursive production of the nineteenth-century scientific enterprise. Building a modern national identity imagination, where scientific and scientistic, speech is entrama to the political project of the Argentine nation State formation. Whereas four dimensions: the modernization project underlying institutional anchorages that translates, the leading historical figures and their interdependence with the political and literary tales. In this sense, the concept of ideological or social - speech - enables the integration of the stories (political, literary, and scientific) circumventing any determination and analytical disjunction positive, to recover the full value of their social and historical incidents in a national sense of poiesis.
