In the first few pages of these textbooks, their main objective is to train students who are critical of traditional history, however, there are numerous chapters in which it is used a version of the history of Venezuela that, somehow, repeats the discourse of the so-called "historia patria", raised during the nineteenth century and part of the twentieth century, in that the anniversary is interpreted asthe founding date of the emancipatory process, responding, in addition, to an abusive use of history as a political justification.
