Resumen de Vascular flora of the central and western parts of Yeşilırmak Delta (Çarşamba / Samsun / Turkey)

• The vascular flora of Yeşilırmak Delta (Çarşamba/Samsun/Turkey), second in size among the other deltas in Turkey, was investigated. According to phytogeographical regions, distribution of the 568 species and infraspecific taxa of 340 genera belonging to 91 families instead of "is": identified in the study area are as follows: 22.4% Euro-Siberian, 9.8% Mediterranean, 1% Irano-Turanian, and 0.5% Cosmopolitan. The phytogeographic regions of 66.3% of the species are unkown.
