    En este artículo, hemos examinado las disparidades regionales en España en cuanto a la tasa de desempleo y de vacantes, al mismo tiempo que analizábamos el proceso de em- parejamiento. El principal resultado es que existen factores regionales específicos que afectan a este proceso y que, por tanto, existe una importante heterogeneidad entre las diferentes regiones españolas.

    In this paper we have examined the regional disparities in terms of unemployment and vacancy rates, as weil as in the matching process. We found that there are idiosyncratic regional factors that affect this process, and thus there exists a significant heterogeneity arnong Spanish regions regarding the UV relationship and the matching process.
