    Mi objeto de estudio se ha centrado, desde hace muchos años, en la recepción de Juan B. Alberdi y su programa de la “República Posible” en las políticas de gobierno de Julio Argentino Roca (1880-1886 y 1898-1904). He tratado de evidenciar, en diferentes trabajos, de qué modo en las dos gestiones roquistas se han usado la figura y los escritos alberdianos para justificar sus planes y medidas, sintetizada en el lema Paz y Administración. Mi interés ha girado para indagar, ahora, qué críticas hacen desde el mismo partido gobernante (Partido Autonomista Nacional) a este tipo de política. Con este motivo examino la trayectoria de Joaquín V. González.

    My object of study has centered for many years on the reception of Juan B. Alberdi and his program of the "Possible Republic" in the government policies of Julio Argentino Roca (1880-1886 and 1898-1904). I have tried to show, in different works, how in the two roquistas managements the figure and the Alberdian writings have been used to justify their plans and measures, synthesized in the motto Peace and Administration. My interest has turned to investigate, now, what criticisms they make from the same ruling party (National Autonomist Party) to this type of policy. With this reason I examine the trajectory of Joaquin V. González.
