The objective of this essay is to describe the causal relationship between the amount of investment in education and the educational systems. To achieve this goal, three indicators of investment and their relationship with the education models are set out. As the amount of investment has been diversified, the educational systems have been adjusted, mainly to a neoliberal political context in which the State, without planning its effect, has facilitated the development of pictures from subsidies and grants for institutes and universities of Higher Education. As the State has stimulated the investigation and the terminal efficiency from scholarships, contests and supports, it has also facilitated the exponential growth of scientist and technological literature.
