Classic business cycles of Sinaloa and Sonora are examined, in the absence of GDP information by entity, data of agro-mining production and domestic and foreign trade is utilized. The importance of considering the business cycles in the histography of that time is revealed, wherein -except for the period of the revolution and the beginning of the reconstruction- existed a strong synchrony between the business cycles of Sinaloa and Sonora with those of Mexico and the US. This can be explained by the primary export-led character of both economies, which were very influenced by the international business cycles.
