Resumen de Propaganda y educación. Estudio de la propaganda en la historia educativa española (1900-1975)

  La educación como institución socializadora al servicio de los ciudadanos cumple la función propagandística de transmitir los conocimientos y descubrimientos, que habían logrado las anteriores generaciones, a la vez que propaga los valores, las actitudes y las normas sociales de cada periodo histórico. El periodo analizado corresponde con el inicio del siglo XX hasta la muerte del general Franco en el año 1975. En este largo periodo distinguimos tres momentos muy significativos e importantes en la Historia de la Educación en España: El inicio del siglo XX, la Educación en la II República y la educación durante la Guerra civil española y finalmente la Educación en el franquismo. En cada uno de los tres periodos señalados podemos observar la gran importancia que los gobiernos de la nación concedieron a la Educación por la fuerza que esta tiene como herramienta propagandística y también su misión en la formación de los ciudadanos que podrán perpetuar o cambiar los poderes establecidos.

  Education as a socializing institution at the service of citizens fulfills the propaganda function of transmitting the knowledge and discoveries that previous generations had achieved, while propagating the values, attitudes and social norms of each historical period.

  The period analyzed corresponds to the beginning of the 20th century until the death of General Franco in 1975. In this long period we distinguished three very significant and important moments in the History of Education in Spain: The beginning of the 20th century, Education in the Second Republic and education during the Spanish Civil War and finally Education in the Franco regime. In each of the three periods indicated we can see the great importance that the governments of the nation granted to Education for the strength that it has as a propaganda tool and also its mission in the formation of citizens who can perpetuate or change the established powers.
