    Este texto aborda el Mayo del 68 desde el pensamiento de Lefebvre y el concepto de tradición revolucionaria. Primero, presenta los lazos de Mayo del 68 con la Comuna de París, cómo desafía la tradición revolucionaria entonces hegemónica y cómo el modelo de revolución pasa de 1917 a 1871. Luego, se recorre la herencia disputada de la Comuna y cómo queda postergada tras la Revolución Rusa. Finalmente, se examinan las críticas de Lefebvre a la sociedad contemporánea desde sus concepciones de la cotidianidad y lo urbano, pero también cómo su reivindicativo análisis de la Comuna aparece como una respuesta a esas problemáticas, cómo suministra un enfoque distinto de Mayo del 68 y cómo arroja luz sobre el nexo entre revolución y tradición.

    This article analyses May 1968 from the perspective of Lefebvre’s work and from the concept of revolutionary tradition. First, I outline the links between May 1968 and the Commune of Paris, how the hegemonic revolutionary tradition is challenged and how 1917 is replaced by 1871 as the model of revolution. Afterwards, I describe the disputed heritage of the Commune and how this event is overshadowed after the Russian Revolution. Finally, I examine Lefebvre’s criticism of the contemporary society from his reflections on everyday life and the urban, but also how his account on the Commune becomes a response to these problems, provides a different approach to May 1968 and sheds light on the connection between revolution and tradition.
