This mini-series of articles follows a succession of roundtable meetings with representatives from across the construction sector. Delegates identifi ed a range of commercial and operational risks in their common environments and candidly discussed the challenges of tackling them with input from construction lawyers and senior risk management experts from Griffi ths & Armour.
The principal output was a publication – Managing Risk in a Changing Business World – which will be of interest to all practising engineers and their management teams.
In the fi rst article in January1 , we looked at diff erent approaches to contractual risk among engineers and their clients. This month we focus on how risk-aware engineers view the opportunities available in today’s market.
