La voz de la memoria es un viaje que parte desde la experiencia de mirada infantil en el no tiempo del adentro para encontrar una afirmación vital de existencia en la otredad. Se abre, entonces, una intención de diálogo intercultural que empieza con la movilización interior del mundo sensible. Es la reconfiguración del sujeto que esta vez elige el camino del corazón para aprehender el mundo. El sujeto infantil en soledad asiste a un acto iniciático: ve su propio rostro mirando su mirar a través de la ventana, percibe la escritura invisible de las cosas y el atardecer encendido como un horizonte sin límites. La voz de la memoria es mi propio encuentro con la cultura Cofán como un camino sin distancia, como un camino que ya recorro, quizás hace mucho, quizás hace poco. Este texto hace eco de un pueblo que tras soportar y sufrir todas las violencias enseña que la vida es sagrada. Allí están los sabedores, allí están los taitas, allí están las abuelas y los jóvenes para defenderla, y la infancia cofán, para perpetuarla.

The voice of memory is a journey that starts from the experience of infantile gaze in the timelessness of the inside for a vital affirmation of existence in otherness. It opens, then, an intention of intercultural dialogue that begins with the inner mobilization of the sensitive world. It is the reconfiguration of the subject who this time chooses the way of the heart to apprehend the world. The child subject in solitude attends an initiatory act: he sees his own face looking at his gaze through the window, perceives the invisible writing of things and the sunset lit up like a boundless horizon.
The voice of memory is my own encounter with the Cofán culture as a path with no distance, as a road that I already walk, perhaps a long time ago, perhaps recently. This text echoes a people who after bearing and suffering all violence, teaches that life is sacred. There are the knowers, there are the taitas, there are the grandmothers and the young to defend it, and the childhood cofán, to perpetuate it.
