  • The essay’s aim is to vindicate an objectual meaning of the «maieutics» notion, throwing the heuristic reticle of Philosophical Materialism on the analogy of proportionality that Plato knots between the μαίευσις of the midwife and the ἔλεγχος of the philosopher (Theaetetus, 149a151d). Philosophy is thus redefined as a maieutics that —from the categorical inter-worlds— brings forth, totalizes and classifies in form of trascendental Ideas the apories of those circles of immanence that the theory of «categorical closure» calls categories.

    El propósito del ensayo es vindicar una acepción objetual del término «mayéutica», proyectando la retícula heurística del materialismo filosófico sobre la analogía de proporcionalidad que Platón anuda entre la μαίευσις de la comadrona y el ἔλεγχος del filósofo (Teeteto, 149a - 151d). Se redefine así a la Filosofía ‒a la Idea de Filosofía propugnada por el materialismo filosófico‒ como una mayéutica que, desde los intermundos categoriales, partea, totaliza y enclasa en manera de Ideas trascendentales las aporías de esos círculos de inmanencia a que la teoría del «cierre categorial» llama categorías
