Resumen de Diagnóstico y desafíos para el desarrollo turístico de los museos del Valle de Aconcagua, Chile

  El museo ha constituido un elemento esencial dentro de la oferta turística de un territorio, debido a que exalta las características históricas y culturales de una localidad. Por tanto, su conocimiento es necesario para la articulación turística de un territorio. Sin embargo, existe un desconocimiento general respecto a los museos que obstaculiza la toma de decisiones del sector público y el sector privado. Atendiendo a estas brechas, este artículo presenta un diagnóstico de los museos del Valle de Aconcagua con el fin de identificar sus problemáticas y potenciar la exposición de sus recursos patrimoniales a través de la aplicación de una metodología que mixtura variables museológicas y turísticas. Se realiza, además, una jerarquización de los museos con el objeto de comparar los recursos mejor posicionados de aquellos emergentes para determinar criterios para las estrategias turísticas del territorio. Con ello, se busca relevar la información museal y observar las posibilidades de desarrollo turístico en torno a estos espacios culturales.

  The museum has been an essential element in the tourist offer of a territory, because it exalts the historical and cultural characteristics of a locality. Therefore, your knowledge is necessary for the tourist joint of a territory. However, there is a general ignorance about the museums that hinders decision-making in the public sector and the private sector. Addressing these gaps, the objective of this study is to make a tourist diagnosis of the museums in the Aconcagua Valley in order to identify their problems and enhance the exposure of their heritage resources through the application of a methodology that mixture of museological and tourist variables. Is also a hierarchy of museums in order to compare those emerging resources better positioned to determine criteria for the tourist strategies of the territory. It seeks to relieve the museological information and see the possibilities for tourism development around these cultural spaces.
