    Se considera en el siguiente artículo que, a partir de los años setenta, la humanidad asiste al despliegue de una crisis civilizatoria, es decir, orgánica del sistema-mundo vigente hasta entonces. Que sea una crisis orgánica significa que han cambiado sus dos variables fundamentales: el paradigma o patrón energético y la pauta comunicacional que eran dominantes desde el siglo XVII. Esto conlleva cambios en las formas de gestión y de participación de la sociedad a lo largo y ancho del sistema y subsistemas que lo organizan. Con el desarrollo de estos supuestos se quiere indicar las ventanas de oportunidad que se le presentan en prospectiva a la sociedad colombiana, los retos que en la nueva escena política deben afrontar para su gestión, las fortalezas y debilidades que portan los actores políticos.

    In the following article one considers that, starting in the seventies, humanity assists with the unleashing of a civilization crisis, organic of the existing world-system until then.It being an organic crisis signifies that its two fundamental variables have changed: theenergy paradigm or pattern and the communicational guideline, which were dominant in the XVII century. This leads to changes in management methods and participation of society far and wide through the system and subsystems, which comprise it. With the development of these premises one wants to signal the windows of opportunity which present themselves regarding Colombian society, challenges which must be faced during the new political scenario in managing it, and the strengths and weaknesses portrayed by the political players.
