    La infraestructura verde constituye un nuevo modelo de gestión del territorio y de los recursos naturales que pretende preservar la biodiversidad para garantizar múltiples beneficios a los seres humanos. Dicho concepto se introduce en la Unión Europea en 2013 y en España en la reforma de 2015 de la Ley del Patrimonio Natural y de la Biodiversidad, que prevé la elaboración de la Estrategia Estatal de Infraestructura Verde y de la Conectividad y Restauración Ecológicas. El trabajo describe el interesante proceso de elaboración y el documento redactado.

    The green infrastructure constitutes a new model of territorial management and natural resources that aims to preserve biodiversity to guarantee multiple benefits for human beings.
